Story
My 50th is looming and have been fortunate enough to have shared many crazy adventures with my friends and family. I love the great outdoors and will have a go at most things - caving, skiing, climbing, wild swimming, windsurfing, cycling....can't imagine not being able to share this with my kids. It's the stuff of life....but not so easy for everyone.
I am doing Stroud half marathon on 23rd October, the day before my 50th, to raise money for kids with disabilities to go on an outdoors adventure break with their families next Spring. The Calvert Trust in North Devon hosts these families - allowing siblings to enjoy the daring-do together with mum & dad. It costs a packet, so I'm hoping we can help them!!
Please donate what you can - I don't need gifts but these families do.

8 years agoThanks so much for your support. I did the Stroud Half in 2 hours 19mins AND I could still walk the next day! Roll on the next challenge. I know this money will make a difference to the families going off to The Calvert Trust. Hope they all have fab times together.
