I've raised £3000 to Miracle Peaks: Elevating Lives, Honoring Heroes.

Join us on our journey as we stand in awe of the remarkable resilience displayed by my nephew Cohen. In June 2023, 3 weeks after Cohens 17th birthday, he was the backseat passenger and involved in a harrowing car accident. Despite diligently wearing his seat belt, he endured life-changing injuries when the driver lost control, causing the vehicle to collide with a wall and flip seven times.
The impact left Cohen with severe traumatic brain injury, DAI (shaken baby syndrome) and multiple other injuries. Now, everyday is a relentless battle to reclaim his life, one small victory at a time.
This intense ordeal has fueled us to not only honor his fight and determination, but also to recognise the unsung heroes who rushed to his aid - West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service, NHS Ambulance crew and the Yorkshire Air Ambulance. Their rapid response and dedication were the lifelines that ensured my nephews survival and without their swift intervention, I dread to think about how different things might have been.
In a tribute to Cohens resilience and the vital role of these lifesaving services, my partner Matt and I are taking on the challenge of climbing the 3 peaks. Ben Nevis, Mount Snowden and Scarfell Pike.
Each ascent symbolising the uphill battle Cohen now faces in trying to re-build his life and re-gain what has been lost, as well as the uphill climb the employees of these services undertake everyday to save lives.
But our journey is not complete without your support. Join us in honoring courage, celebrating heroes, and ensuring that vital services and their employees continue to be there for those in need. Together, let's turn every step into a beacon of hope and support for a brighter tomorrow.
All proceeds will be split evenly across 3 charities - The Yorkshire Air Ambulance, The Fire Fighters Charity, and The Ambulance Staff Charity.
