We are a community youth brass band based in Middleton, Manchester. We provide our service to young musicians entirely for free which includes tuition from qualified tutors and free instrument loan as we believe that cost should never be a barrier to any young person learning to play a musical instrument.

We are delighted to have been invited to play at Disneyland Paris in August 2017 as part of the Disney performing arts programme.

We began our fundraising efforts last year and have worked hard through a range of fundraising projects to raise the money we need to pay for our tour.

For example, we have held two race nights, a quiz night, a casino night, a sponsored 100 mile bike ride, a sponsored walk, supermarket bag packing sessions and of course we have played our instruments in lots of concerts where we have collected funds.
We now need to raise just a few hundred pounds more to have enough funds to pay for our basic tour costs.

This is an exciting project for our young musicians to be working towards and will give them valuable experience of preparing for and performing on the professional world stage.
Our fantastic young musicians will not only extend their musical skills outside the walls of the band room and the local area, but also create a lasting legacy to encourage more young musicians to take up a musical instrument.
