Tragically Michael Shannon died on 10th January 2017 at the tender age of 50.

His death was a shock to the family & was completely unexpected despite a short stay in hospital. Michael leaves behind his partner Gife and two children, Freddie (9) and Annie (7).

Michael's untimely death will leave a huge hole in their lives and as is customary in circumstances such as these we feel the need to give as much help & support to the family as we possibly can, so we thought it might be nice to set up a page so that people can donate whatever they can to help support the family through this extremely hard time.

In his final few years Michael was instrumental in helping Normandy School make the transition from failing school to the prosperous Academy it is now and we would ask that anyone involved with the school who would like to help but isn't sure how, to please donate whatever small amount you can.
