Melton Scouts have owned Holwell Pastures since 1986 and in recent years have been trying to improve the facilities and activities available at the site. The existing toilets and showers and indoor sleeping accommodation are no longer fit for purpose and are beyond repair.
We are starting building a new replacement purpose built facility at the end of April 2017 but we only have enough money to build the outer shell, we therefore need to raise almost £100,000 to complete the interior of the building.
The site is used by over 2000 young people each year from all over the UK, from Scouts, Guides, Schools, youth Groups, Church groups, D of E groups.

With a new building we will be able to keep the camp site open all year round and increase usage, provide much needed indoor sleeping accommodation and hopefully encourage more community groups to use the site during the week.
