After many years of growing up in the community and seeing it grow. We now have a opportunity to improve our existing masjid. The last major works are 25 years old.

The Messenger (salallahu alayhi wasalam) said: "Whoever builds a Mosque for the sake of Allah, like a sparrow's nest or even smaller, Allah will build for him a house in Paradise."

Assalamualaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu,

We are happy to announce that Masjid Al-Hikmah (aka Selwyn Road Masjid) are due to embark on our renovation project.

The project includes:
🌳Excavation of the garden, to create basement level floor.
🚰 New Wudhu and toilet facilities.
☪ Extension of the main prayer hall.
🔨 Loft conversion
🔧 Complete Renovation

Work is expected to start in the summer of 2017 and estimated completion dates will be provided, after we begin.

This does not come free of charge and we humbly request donations to support the project.
