We raised the full £750 - in fact we've just had a late donation from Auntie Lou's employers, Adam Henson's Cotswold Farm Park - so now a superb total of £800. We have agreed with CRC that the money will contribute to the cost of a classroom set of iPads, as well as the cabin crew training equipment already on the list, and various text book destination guides. Finally, here's a picture of Lydia presenting Chloe Bell with the Student of the Year award in Lucy's name - all made possible only by your generous support - THANK YOU very much.

Thanks again for all the support and fantastically generous contributions. The team are just back from today's walk - pictured below taking a breather on the way round. Chloe (surname to follow) won the Lucy Burnell prize for Student of the Year at a short awards ceremony after the walk, award presented by Lydia and Auntie Lou. The funds raised this year will be used for esential text books, and other essential equipment.

Thank you very much to everybody who has kindly donated to this year's walk. We are all ready to do the circuit, around 8 miles long, on Wednesday 10th May. There will be five of Lucy's family - Diane and I, our other daughter Lydia, and Lucy's Auntie Lou and family friend Craig Goodwin. Not forgetting of course Lucy's Jack Russell, Betsy, and her two 8 month old puppies, Stanley and Bodhi - pictured below a few months ago now!
