Our beautiful Lucie was killed in a motorbike accident on Friday 9th December 2016. She has left behind her family including her two gorgeous children, and many close friends who will miss her greatly. Lucie was incredibly kind, patient and generous. She was a fantastic mother and a dear friend who was always there when you needed her. She was extremely creative, fun, and positive, even when life wasn’t always kind to her. Just by being herself, Lucie really was a truly inspirational character.

We are fundraising so that we can pay for Lucie’s funeral and so that her family may attend from abroad. We hope to give any left-over funds in savings to support Lucie’s children.

When I think of Lucie, I cannot help but smile as I think about her jokes, love of her children, boundless energy and zest for life. She offered me so much support, encouragement and the strength to overcome difficulties in my own life, and I know that I am not the only one whose life Lucie touched in this way. I think that Lucie would want me to share what I have learnt from her loss; to live life to the full with an open heart and never to be afraid to love.
