Story
Located on the edge of Liverpool city centre, KFCA has been working for almost 50 years to help support the local community. We run a food pantry, provide activities for isolated older people, deliver a popular after school club & holiday play schemes including literacy & reading for pleasure projects, host debt & fuel advice services and have just launched a brand new Community Land Trust to create & manage community-led housing and local enterprises. No two days are the same - we respond to a myriad of challenges of daily life for local people and our door is always open.
We do all of this work from a community centre that is really showing signs of age, and with a small but extremely dedicated staff and volunteer team.
You can find out more about what we do and our ambitions for the future by following our social media and watching our new film made for us by The Guardian as part of their Made in Britain series.
We also welcome visits from anyone who wants to know more and is interested in committing to helping us grow and thrive into the future. Get in touch - hello@kfca.co.uk / 0151 708 9107
