Story

Kingston Barnes has chosen its 2024 Charity of the Year: The Lord Mayor of Bristol's Children Appeal! This wonderful charity raises £82,500 annually to support 1,650 of the poorest children in Bristol, providing them with a better Christmas.

For those living below the poverty line, the holiday season can be especially challenging. We have an opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children and families in need this Christmas. That's why we're pledging to raise and donate a whopping £10,000 in 2024, as well as contribute a significant amount to the Toy Appeal.

On the 3rd of July at KB HQ, we will cycle 1km for every family being helped, that’s 1650km in ONE day! That’s over 1000 miles! It's more than the total length and width of the UK combined, more than the length of Sweden, and about the same distance from the UK to Spain! The aim is to cycle 1650km and to raise £1650 as part of our £10k goal in 2024.

We'll be working together as a team on six bikes to travel the 1650km from our office on Queen Square.

Come down to support our cycle challenge, buy something from our huge cake stall or donate to the wonderful charity here.
