Will you help Josefina climb Mount Kilimanjaro and inspire a generation of female Maradonas?

Josefina is an Argentinian role model for women and girls in her country. Futbol is everywhere in Argentina but it's considered a male sport; women and girls are discouraged from playing.

As part of Futbol Militante, which gives women and girls the opportunity and support to play futbol, Josefina is tackling the huge barriers to women playing sport; the poverty, lack of infrastructure and the perception of sport as 'masculine' are all factors holding women and girls back.

Please can you help?

In June 2017, two teams of female players will climb to the top of Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa's tallest mountain. After reaching the summit, we will descend to 5,785 metres (that's 18,980 feet!) and play the world’s highest ever game of competitive football.
