We have been contacted by a few people who want to donate towards Isabelle's Headstone fund which is why I have created this page.

Most of you will know Isabelles story, but for those that don't know I will try and fill it in as short as I can.

Isabelle's pregnancy was a walk in the park, right up until 25 weeks, then she began to slow down movements wise. As much as I mentioned it, professionals weren't listening or taking it seriously. The hospitals policy is that until 28 weeks, you cannot go onto the monitors to monitor baby and you cannot be scanned either. Isabelle continued to slow down and movements gradually got less and less but still nobody listened.
When I was 27+5 I hadn't felt Isabelle move in a few hours so went in to be checked out, reluctantly because I had a 4D scan the next day so would have seen her anyway.

But when I got to the hospital after waiting an hour to be seen, two Dopplers and monitor couldn't find her heartbeat. The midwife went to get a doctor who brought in a scanner with him. As soon as he put the scanner on the screen and Isabelle appeared, it was clear her heart had stopped as the flicker had gone and she was still. At 9:58pm he turned the scanner off, took my hand and said the words nobody wants to hear. "I'm so sorry, your baby has no heartbeat".

The next morning I took the first tablet to be induced and went home. 2 days later I went back into hospital and had the final tablet Monday morning at 10am. Isabelle Faith was delivered stillborn at 14:55pm on 19th December 2016 weighing 2lb 2oz.

The only thing we can now do for her as parents is give her the perfect headstone. We gave her an amazing send off thanks to amazing friends and family raising money towards her funeral and now her headstone is the final thing to do as closure and as we have discovered, headstones even for babies aren't cheap.

We are grateful for anything anyone donates towards the cause no matter how big or small.
