    Story

Ian Coates the adventure motorcycle traveler wandered the world for 14 years and over 300,000 Kms. Now at 72 he is home but in his usual style of adventure had a fall that resulted in a long term stay in hospital.
This fund is to create a unique get well card from a Cartoon by Sprocket as a large format poster and present it to Ian when he is fit enough and back home.

      Update from the Page owner

Thanks you to everyone who helped with our project. The picture is now at the framers and should be ready in 10 days . I spoke to Ian today and he is now back at home. Still some way to go, but I am sure he will improve faster in his own bed and favorite chair. I will video the presentation, once its ready, and put it on facebook (roadtoManchester & ChunkyTreadMAC ). many thanks again Pete

When Ian came back to the UK around 3 years ago , he was looking for somewhere to camp. It was snowing and -3 yet he rode from Hull to Manchester and stayed with me for the weekend. I managed to get Ian and his bike into the Manchester Bike Show. he calls me Dad or his Manager.
