Our first event - "INTHETANK MARATHON" will take place on Saturday 3rd August 2024 in Leeds. Runners will have the option to choose from a 21km, 42km or 50km route to raise money for In The Tank CIC - a local mental health support nonprofit organisation.

The money raised will be used to launch In The Tank 1% Club (If we meet our fundraising target, all costs associated will be covered for a 6 month period). This is a Peer Support & Accountability Group that will meet every Friday in a privately hired suite at Horsfall Community Stadium. "We believe that through open and honest communication in a confidential and supportive environment, using a holistic approach, we can improve the mental health of all. By making small and consistent personal changes, individuals can achieve a more fulfilled life and improved mental and physical health."

The problem we are addressing is the prevalence of common mental health struggles in adults. These include depression, anxiety, and suicidal thoughts. We are committed to tackling this issue through a holistic approach that emphasizes improving physical health to enhance mental well-being. We are driven to encourage others facing mental health struggles, that no matter how much you feel like giving up, there is always something left #INTHETANK

In The Tank CIC is a non-profit organization, not a charity. All funds raised are not for profit and will be reinvested into the CIC for the benefit of the community through our projects, support, programs, and workshops.
