Thanks to your generous support, between May 2022 and May 2023, together we raised an amazing £2,712 to to help Chef Hugo live his best life. Your support helped us to pay for ongoing care and medication, to manage the effects of Hugo’s Pituitary Tumor, cushings disease and secondary calsinosis cutis, severe bacterial infections in his wounds, and double ear hematoma as a result of discomfort.

Upon diagnosis Hugo was given a best case prognosis of 2 years, but in late 2021, as bacterial infections including Staphylococcus set in to his wounds, we prepared for the worst.

Through it all, Hugo has demonstrated unwaivering resilience, he’s reminded us all of the value of time, and encouraged us all to make the most of it, embracing the little pleasures in life, and live each day to its full. Hugo is an absolute super star, taking each day as it comes, with a spring in his step. We couldn‘t be prouder of him, and more thankful to all of you.

I am so happy to say, Hugo the warrior has defied all odds, and is going strong today with the help of the chemotherapy drug, Trilostane. Thanks to which, the condiiton is being managed effectively.

A donation of £3.08 would pay for one day’s medication. A donation of £21.58 would pay for one weeks medication. Our target of £1125 would pay for 365 days of Trilostane.
