Holy Rood House is an amazing place that offers a safe space when life may be falling apart and is an inclusive community. It offers short term residential stays, day visits and retreats along with professional, therapeutic support such as art therapy, counselling and holistic therapies.
Since it is a charity it depends fully on donations.
At the moment Holy Rood House has builders in to construct a new carer suite which will offer full access to disabled guests.
We're still short of a few things like the appropriate beds, a sofa bed for the carer and accessories in the adapted bathroom.

Judith is a residential member of Holy Rood community, from Holland, and has previously raised sponsorship with her running.
Debbie is part of the financial management team and therapeutic center. She will be running the Thirsk fun run as a complete novice to running.
Joe is a volunteer at Holy Rood House and produces magnificent food and helps out in the garden. Joe is an experienced runner.
