hisOn sunday the 11th of october at 9pm my brother and partner were taking Rosie their 1yr old rottie x staffy dog for her evening walk out bucksburn area, on their way home they crossed Inverurie Road like they do every night. Rosie has a great recall and so isnt on lead often, but for some reason after they crossed she was spooked and ran back being hit by a car at high speed. Throwing her into the air While my brother and his partner watched on in disbelief! The driver drove on 200 yards stopped got out checked his car and drove off! Leaving rosie bleeding heavily at the side of the road! Luckily a car with 2 young girls saw the whole thing and stopped to provide the drivers details and to check on rosie and her owners! Rosie was rushed to Ardene Vetenary hospital in kingswells where they tried to stabilize her and put out an urgent appeal for doner blood for a blood transfusion! we set about begging like minded dog lovers for help on fb! We were overwhelmed with the response we received with over 40 owners and their dogs showing up at the vets practice, not to mention the amount of calls the practice received with offerof details of help! With such a large response from fb the drivers reg being shared he handed himself in within the 24hour stipulation and is not being charged as he came forward within that 24hours! We have now been left with spiralling vets bills that will continue to grow until we can get to the bottom of trying to fix Rosie!

Rosie is the kindest moat gentle dog you will ever meet! She loves nothing more than bozies and snuggles but thinks she is a lap dog when ahe weighs over 25kg!

we know these are tough times for everyone but if anyone can give a little to help us save our beloved Rosie we would be eternally grateful!!!! Any donation no matter how small will help! We are also going to be heading a dog blood donar campaign with the vets practice who cannot beleive the reaponse we drummed up trying to get a doner for Rosie!
