Iʼve raised £17,770 to Get Heidi to America for Lyme Disease treatment
- Nottingham, United Kingdom
- Funded on Monday, 9th January 2017
Don't have time to donate right now?
Story
Heidi is suffering with Lyme disease after being bitten by a tick and mis diagnosed. If you treat it early it can be cured with antibiotics. But it was too late for Heidi.
I am creating this page so us (her friends and family) can do activities and events to raise the funds needed to get Heidi to America for treatment.
I can not stand by and see her suffer and in so much pain.
Any help will be gratefully received! I myself am doing a sky dive in 6 months to raise donations. you can do anything! cake bake! raffle! shave your head! whatever you can do
I have hundreds of people on my facebook. if everyone donated we would be well on our way.
There is no cure and the NHS only try and control the pain which is not working for Heidi.she is on 29 different medication a day to try and help the pain.
She has been told there's nothing they can do as no trained Lyme doctors and there hands are tied until 2018 when government review treatment guidelines in uk so she needs to go germany infusio or usa to see dr horowitz amazing treating and curing people everyday there. She needs stem cell therepy immune boosting ivs hyperthermia treatments oxygen therepy and oxygen blood transfusions ozone
In America she can fly over and get the specialist treatment she so desperately needs!!!! She will be given the care she needs to clear her body of this awful debilitating disease.
All the money will be going directly to Heidi. Once we have enough we will be booking flights to go over for the initial consultations.
We have estimated this to be a minimum of £60,000
I will also be contacting the news and media channels.
Heidi has spent her whole life doing charity events and helping sick kids in hospital, spreading joy and happiness where ever she goes. we can not and must not stand back and let this happen.
So please help me. lets stand together and kick Lymes ASS!!!!!!

Been to some fantastic parties run by Heidi. Always admired how much energy she has so was shocked to hear about her illness. Hoping that she gets some big donations soon so she can start treatment.
