HayDos Animal Friends Association is a registered non-profit in Türkiye, dedicated to supplying essential needs for a healthy life to animals of all kinds. Beyond providing direct care, HayDos is committed to fostering compassion towards animals through public education and awareness campaigns. The organisation also develops and implements educational projects aimed at promoting positive interactions with animals. This holistic approach ensures that HayDos not only cares for animals in need but also cultivates a community dedicated to their welfare.

Lara adopted her dog, Koko, from the HayDos shelter, where she found refuge after a harrowing ordeal. Koko was discovered abandoned on the side of a road, tragically pregnant with four stillborn puppies. These puppies were poisoning her system, putting her life in grave danger. Fortunately, she was immediately taken to a vet for urgent care. Thanks to her timely rescue and the compassionate intervention at that critical moment, Koko survived and now thrives under Lara's loving care.

HayDos is an incredible sanctuary currently providing a safe haven for over 800 dogs, 200 cats, and 10 donkeys, along with a variety of other animals. Remarkably, this entire operation is managed by just two dedicated individuals who are now urgently seeking financial assistance to continue their noble work. The sanctuary is in desperate need of funds to purchase food for the animals, veterinary bills and to maintain the facility.
