I've raised £3000 to Support 4 local Charities: Head Up, Jacob's Well, We Remember Submariners & Veterans Outreach Support

Veterans and Friends Screwball Rally
Armed Forces veterans, Andy Painting and Mark (Cozy) Powell, Royal Navy, along with David England are hoping to raise thousands of pounds for charity. Anyone who knows them will understand their commitment to helping and supporting others.
In taking on this year’s Screwball Rally, they aim to raise money to donate to very deserving people. Your help, generosity and support will be greatly appreciated, and will help motivate them on a five-day European Rally in an old banger!
The route includes France, Belgium, Holland, Germany & Denmark. Some 1,496 miles, depending on the number of pit stops, detours, and repairs needed!
The car is ready, the Thermos flasks are full, & the drivers are nervous. Will they make it?
The Screwball Rally is an annual event each Sept, driving around Europe.
The rules are few, but the premise is based around safety first and ironically, not racing. There are no prizes or recognition for being first. It is simply an opportunity to raise money for charity.
In order to enter the Rally, you must first purchase a banger.
Cars must be road legal & compliant with all road traffic regulations and have a value of £1000 or less. Once the car is purchased you can spend as much as you need to get the car ready for the event.
Although this sounds easy, there is much to do to ensure success.
