Story
The summer of 2020 saw GPSFA extend the lease on their Longlevens home and complete the facility’s biggest project yet. Thanks primarily to Rob Freeman at Malvern Tyres and over a hundred amazing people who supported the ‘Another Brick in the Wall’ initiative, the pavilion gained a new roof to add to the premises’ extensive refurbishment that, courtesy of a bequest from the late Ron Mclean, had taken place two years previously.
In order to continue to upgrade and add to the facilities season-upon-season, we are looking to raise £3,000 a year to directly fund these improvements, while further expanding our Commemorative Wall which is located just inside the main entrance.
Anyone wishing to donate £100 will receive a glazed black brick to be engraved with names/dates and/or a message that will form a permanent personal memento and become part of the ‘GPSFA Players & Friends’ Commemorative Wall. The inscription is 2 lines, with a maximum of 18 characters (including spaces & punctuation) on each brick.
All help and support for this project is hugely appreciated, while we would like to say a MASSIVE THANK-YOU to the 100+ people whose names already form part of that most famous of global footballing landmarks - The Great Wall (of Longlevens)
