The GB Women's Water Polo team have performed brilliantly this year. They have out-played higher ranked competition and beaten teams who are all paid professionals. The team's hard work, commitment and determination has paid off when they won the recent European Championship qualification tournament and qualified for the European Championships for the first time in 14 years.

This is a team of amazing young women who have to self fund to attend tournaments. The European Championships will be held in January 2024 and cost players £2500 each and that is on top of costs for preparatory competitions and training, and taking unpaid leave.
