The island of St.Vincent & Grenadines is an island of approximately 150.2 sq miles it is a beautiful island lying within the Lesser Antillies, in the eastern Caribbean Sea. On the 8th April 2021, at 9:00 (GMT 13:00), volcano La Soufriere erupted, following signs of eruption on Thursday 7th April where lava became visible. As a result of its eruption, 20,000 people have been evacuated from their homes. This island is the homeland of my parents and other family members, it's where I started school and a place that is very dear to my heart. A humanitarian crisis has now been caused by this volcano and expected to last for months. Much aid is needed and financial support is needed. I am respectfully asking for any financial assistance that you are able to give to this much-needed cause.
