The story

The Fans Museum in Monkwearmouth, Sunderland, is a unique immersive amd interactive museum with a huge collection of football memorabilia for fans from all around the world to see and even try on!

While the Museum is a great place for footie fans to visit on match days, or even on those days when “The Lads” are not at home, our work is not just about football memorabilia. We are very much community-focused and currently the work of our Mental Health Hub involves supporting young and old who may have a disability.

We also look to use the collection and expertise when it comes to supporting all aspects of Health & Edication, from veterans, or those diagnosed with dementia, for example.

We are now looking to raise £10,000 to take a group of the fans hub members, who’ve all had to deal with their own mental health issues, to play a match against supporters of Copa Del Rey Winners, Athletic Club De Bilbao the Basque Country.
