Frome Town United U15 Boys & U14 Girls have been offered an amazing opportunity to take part in a Mini European Tournament in Murrhardt, Germany between July 4th & 8th

Frome Town United have been in talks with Philip Campagna, Mayor of Frome over the past few months, Philip has been a real influence in ensuring Frome Town United players have been given this opportunity.

The Town of Murrhardt has invited Frome Town United FC, a youth football club from within one of the Twin Towns of Murrhardt to take part in a European Football Tournament. Alongside Frome Town United, Teams from the other Twin towns - Château-Gontier-sur-Mayenne, Rabka-Zdrój & Rötha have also been invited.

This is an amazing opportunity for the players to travel to Germany and play a 7 a-side tournament against players from Germany, France & Poland. The players travelling have all played for Frome Town United since they were very little, they are now keen to represent their Club & Country and to make the town of Frome proud.

Murrhardt will be covering the costs of all accommodation and Meals for the Teams whilst staying in Murrhardt, however we will need to Fund our own Travel to and from the tournament! If we are unable to raise enough money to cover these Costs, we simply will be unable to attend.

Whilst our teams are in Germany, Euro 2024 will also be taking place where games will be played at Stuttgart Stadium, Including 1 Quarter Final on July 5th. Teams Travelling to Murrhardt will also have the opportunity to travel to Stuttgart Stadium and visit the four fan zones/Euro Cup event areas within Stuttgart City Centre.

On May 28th, the players from the U15 Boys & U14 Girls will be climbing Mount Snowdon to also raise money for this amazing opportunity. As a team they will work together to climb to the top. This will be a great achievement for all taking part and if we can help fund our travel to Germany this would be amazing
