Emma was diagnosed with a brain tumour on September 10th, turning her, her husband’s and both their boys, aged 8 and 11, worlds upside down. Further scans revealed at least two more anomalies in her brain. Due to NHS strikes, there was no definitive date for treatment. We decided to have her seen privately as speed is of the essence, and we were lucky enough to be able to borrow the money for this immediately from a friend. She was operated on for the main tumour on September 25th. She is now recovering at home with Jim her husband caring for her. She is awaiting news on how her ongoing treatment will continue. We are seeking funds to repay the generosity of the friend who was able to allow this initial operation to happen, and to fund ongoing bills accruing due to the family’s inability to return to work.
