Challenges are what make life interesting. Overcoming them is what makes life meaningful.

The past few weeks post shoulder surgery have made me feel so grateful for the life I have. The smallest frustrations I have experienced made me stop and appreciate my health and think about those less fortunate who face bigger struggles every single day and those that have challenges in life that cannot be as easily overcome.

I have decided to use my time of recovery to take on a challenge that will test both my physical and mental resilience.

ELEVEN TAKES EVEREST in 11 days.

The challenge -

Climb Everest in the Equivalent of Box Steps.

The challenge will see a total of 17,420 of 20 inch box steps over 11 days. That's 1584 per day.

I will be raising money for 2 charities.

Local - Mountain Rescue / National - Make a wish UK

and all donations will be 70/30 split. No matter how small every little bit counts.

I will being doing this challenge Solo so any support to join in over the 11 days is gladly welcomed. Some of the Eleven Fitness Community will also be doing this in teams of 4.
