Dukinfield Town and Youth FC have been around the local community of Dukinfield/Hyde for over 100 years providing football for both children and Adults with over 25 teams ranging from Under 6 to Adult teams alongside our TOTS sessions and Soccer School.

Last night we had the devastating news that some people within our local community found it exciting enough to devastate our club facilities with not only vandalism but arson as well.

They smashed up all the outside of the building with lights smashed and threw paint all over the outside. As well as smashing up our lifesaving defibrillator that is there to save lives if ever needed.

They then broke into the building and decided to smash all rooms up that they could access, ripping sinks off the wall smashing light fittings etc, to only then start a fire in one of our rooms causing the whole ceiling to collapse and send smoke damage to other parts of our building which will ultimately cost 10's of thousands of pounds to put right for our community club. We do have insurance but it is not just about this, it is also about additional costs we will need to source as we are a completely self sufficient non-profit club and rely on subscriptions and donations to keep the local community with what we offer.
