Some of you may be aware that our daughter Lily Dobson recently won the unofficial world under 21s snooker title. Lily is involved in a lot of activities but has reached the point where she will need to concentrate on snooker if she is to fulfil her potential.

Lily will need to compete in the UK, in Europe and also in the Far East in order to gain ranking points.

As you can imagine the cost is frightening but we want her to have the chance.

I don't know if this method of fundraising will work but if you could help Lily's career by donating £20.00 to her fund hopefully this will allow Lily to compete and hopefully try to become the women's world champion.

Hopefully you all know me well enough to know that I wouldn't ask if there was any other way.
