    Story

Corby Town Rugby Club has been going since 1958, with the club's first ever fixture being against a Northampton Saints XV side, it has become an institution for the town over the years.

Unfortunately last night's storm marked a low in our club's 62 year history and we are calling on the support of the Corby and Rugby community, including anyone who has ever had the opportunity to be welcomed through our doors.

The clubhouse at Northen Park on Rockingham Road in Corby has been a great servant to the community, hosting a plethora of Rugby teams all across the country, as well as countless birthday, engagement, wedding and Christmas parties for the people of Corby.

The clubhouse now not only home to Corby Town Rugby Club, but also houses Corby Town Youth Football Club, Corby Raven Football Club and Corby O'Rahilly's Gaelic Football Club.

We need to raise money for the materials for repair, we are 15 fixtures into the 2019-20 season and we need to get the building back into a safe condition to finish the season strong, celebrating the great sport of Rugby with the true spirit of Corby!

Even if you just contribute the price of one last beer (which is £3) it will go a long way to making a difference in the community.

Thanks for all the contributions so far! So we've got the quotes in and it is looking like we are going to need closer to £30,000 for all of the repairs. We have a charity event planned for the 14th March more details to follow, see Facebook for more info Advertising boards are available at the ground, what we will do is keep everyone posted on the money generated outside of this page as I appreciate we are a long way off our estimate! That said we have had some good coverage on Corby Radio, BBC Northampton Radio and Northants Telegraph.
