You may or may not be aware that my big brother Chris Russell (Big Beard) suffered with a cardiac arrest on 25 February, he is stable but we do not know yet what the full outcome of this ordeal will be.

I'm asking all that know him, regard him as a friend or have been influenced in their lives by him. A big personality with a hard exterior but, such a soft, soft heart ...and a filthy mouth. I myself have have been proud to live in his shadow known by many as "oh you're Chris's brother, right?"

Chris loves and cherishes his family and his home. He has grown into a true family man, working non-stop and religiously to provide and build what he has with his family.

Whatever the outcome of this ordeal I don't want him to lose what he has worked so hard for. He hasn't had it easy and I'm so impressed and proud of what he has done, achieved and does everyday (not that I ever told him)

So what am I asking you all for?

Help to maintain his life, so he can recover knowing his family is safe.

So once Chris gets through this, and he bloody well better, I want all what he has worked so hard for to still be here, he doesn't deserve to loose anything, not one thing. I want his daughter Lily whom he cherishes so much to continue to have the same as he provided for her, that she can remain in the family home that her father and mother joe provided and created to feel safe and reassured by the memories and atmosphere that her home gives her during this horrible uncertain time.
