Story
In November 2016 I was diagnosed with terminal brain cancer. Not the best news to hear, however I decided that I was going to take a positive stance and not let it negatively impact on my life.
My priority throughout this chapter in my life is my son Charlie who is 5. Whilst I have the vague timeframe of having only months to live, I would like to know that my sons future is taken care of.
You cannot put a price on having a living parent and I know that no amount of money will be enough to replace being able to talk to your father. That being said I would love to be able to leave behind some financial stability for him.
Being diagnosed with a terminal illness is certainly not the end, however not being able to work and provide financially for your family can be frustrating.
