Story
During the early hours of Sunday (February 5) the miniature track of the Canterbury and District Model Engineering Society at Brett Aggregates in Sturry was targeted by metal thieves.
The entire circuit was stripped of its aluminium running rails and sleepers and around 200 feet of the total was stolen. Sadly even the rail left behind is beyond further use and will need to be renewed which is particularly unfortunate as we were nearing the end of a rail renewal program and most of the rail stolen or damaged was relatively new.
Help them with replacing the railway and show your support... these fantastic people bring your children so much joy.

My Grandchildren loved riding on the train when they were younger. Here is a small donation to make it possible for children in the future to again be able to enjoy a ride.
