This is a walk from Royal Preston Hospital to Chorley & South Ribble Hospital as a symbol of bringing our A&E home.
It'll take place on Saturday, 22nd October.
There will be campaigning at RPH between 10am-11am alongside the weekly Chorley Hospital protest. We’ll then start the 15 mile walk back to Chorley hospital via Bamber Bridge, Leyland, Euxton and passing Chorley Town Hall.
We'd like anyone who wants to join us, to feel very welcome. As 15 miles is a lot longer for some than others, just join us as we pass your area. Walk with us a while or simply cheer us on!
We're doing this to support our local hospital services and the campaign to keep Chorley & South Ribble A&E open. "Temporarily" closed in April we have stood out side the hospital every Saturday since the closure. This walk will take place on week 28 of that campaign.
