Story
There are currently over 3000 displaced people camped in makeshift shelters at the british border, surviving in appalling conditions. The situation in Calais is part of a wider migration crisis in Europe - caused largely by the displacement of people from war-torn countries such as Syria, Afghanistan, and Eritrea, and across North Africa.
