    Story

Cliftonettes U14 Jade netball team, from Nottinghamshire, will represent the East Midlands at the Nationals Tournament in May this year. The team finished 2nd in the region and will join Rutland Rockets from Leics at the tournament in May. This will give the club its first taste of National netball in 5 years.
The National Clubs U14 Finals brings together the top 18 teams in the U14 age category consisting of the winners and runners up from the 9 regional competitions that have taken place throughout the season.

The whole team, coaches and family will travel to Birmingham on the Friday night in preparation for the weekend. Cliftonettes Jade team has a squad of 10 players plus coach and support staff Chloe Gibson, Jemma Oldknow and Sue McArdle. At this event, we are determined to play our best and try and finish as high up the results table as possible.

"It's a great age group to coach – they are still like little sponges that absorb what you're teaching them,” Chloe Gibson said. "This team has a particular gift in the fact they are such a close team and work hard together. Their team unity is nothing like i have never experienced such team unity in my 20 years of coaching”.
The squad have been fortunate to work with the Local Gym ,The Fitness Space, to provide them with specific Strength and Conditioning session to help them prepare for both the Regional and National competitions.

The team is looking for help and support in their quest to battle with the countries top teams. We are looking for donations to enable use to provide each player with everything they might need for the tournament such as, Sports Water bottles, Ice Packs, KT Tape, Back Packs, netballs and also contribution toward the entry fee and also accomodation.

Any donation large or small will be greatly received.
