We are fundraising for Brodie Llew who is 20 months old and has cerebral palsy and dystonia.

Weʼre raising £55,000 to get our little Brodie groundbreaking therapy for Cerebral Palsy and to help fund equipment to ease his daily pain.

We are fundraising for our brave, little Brodie Llew, who at 20 months old has been diagnosed with hemiplegia (possible quadriplegic) cerebral palsy and dystonia.

Brodie is the most handsome, funny and calm little baby you ever did meet. He is so brave; we are told he is often in pain, but he just keeps smiling and melts everyone’s heart that he meets.

Brodie has been through so much since the day he was born and has now been diagnosed with hemiplegia cerebral palsy (possible quadriplegic - only time will tell) and dystonia.

Brodie can’t walk more than a couple of steps, but tries his best to do so. It’s heartbreaking to see him fall down, but he just keeps getting back up! He is such a determined little boy.

We would love to initially get Brodie some equipment for home to help ease his chronic pain and make daily life for him more comfortable. As well as some supporting tools to help him walk.

The absolute dream would be the opportunity to travel to Mexico for potentially life changing treatment which has been clinically trialled and approved by the national health agency in Mexico

Like most things in life, money opens possibilites to improve the quality of Brodie’s life. We aren't rich and are just a normal Welsh, rugby loving family (Cardiff!), so have decided to set up this special fund dedicated (and auditable) to Brodie, to support his needs as we have spent (and will continue to spend) every penny we have and incurred debts to support him.

Here’s some of the things that we hope any funds raised will help us get

- A trip to Texas to see a dr who has cerebral palsy herself and a wealth of knowledge - thank you every single person who has donated as we was able to see the dr and its provided us with invaluable knowledge and power to help brodie going forward.

-Private physio sessions £7000 per year 2x per week

-hydrotherapy swim tub / therapy £10000

- A specialist chair £1000

- Specialist Bed £3345

- Specialist Pushchair £500

- potentially £50,000 for 28 day neuro treatment in Mexico

-home adaptations to enable brodie to access upstairs and get into our home without difficulty

These are all approx amounts and we are hopeful we can get some of these things to help Brodie - all funds raised will go towards supporting him.
