Story
Black Country Radio is a community radio station based in Stourbridge, West Midlands. They exist to promote the Black Country, it's people, it's values and causes and is totally run by volunteers and relies on advertising to operate.
In the early hours of 9th September 2016 thieves broke into to the studios and stole broadcast equipment from its main on air studio amongst other items. This has put the station out of action, albeit on a temporary basis, until the equipment is replaced.
The station does not have cash it can rely on to replace this equipment. It is hoped that it's insurance will replace these items but as yet this is unknown plus that all takes time leaving the community it serves without its beloved and respected radio voice.
This page has been set up by those listeners that care deeply about the station and attempt to minimise the impact of its plight. Please donate what you can.
