I've raised £500 to bring transformation to the Democratic Republic of Congo and Palestine, through the Carlisle Bishop's Harvest Appeal

Organised by Deb Lee
Deb and Daphne are cycling to the church of every Mothers' Union branch in Cumbria. This includes 1 Cathedral, 3 Priories and 48 churches. The Democratic Republic of Congo is one of the poorest countries in the world, suffering from Climate change, through no fault of its own. Women are often unable to read and write, so they are marginalised and can suffer abuse. The Mothers' Union is running literacy and agricultural programmes to help people escape the cycle of poverty.
