Story
For over eleven years now, I've been lobbying the 'Powers-that-Be', (UK Government, Opposition Parties, the EA, DEFRA and numerous MP's) in order to highlight the problem of sediment build-up in rivers being responsible for localised flooding.
I've already self funded a book on the subject of Flooding and have set up a Facebook page, (Flood - Disaster on the Horizon), in order to give members of the general public access to my work.
But unfortunately the 'Powers-that-Be' don't agree with my theories, and as such I've been politely ignored over the last 11 years, the predictions that I made have all come true, but no-one wants to acknowledge the fact - not even the newspapers or TV!!
I don't want to scaremonger, but if nothing is done to remove these sediment 'blockages' from our rivers, thousands and thousands of people will suffer from Flooding in the years to come - and the problem will worsen year on year.
My aim is to prove beyond doubt that sediment blockages in our rivers are causing the flooding that we are seeing regularly across the country.
You can help to fund these investigations by donating to the cause, your donation will allow me to prove that our rivers need cleaning out, I'm 100% sure that the evidence is out there, I just need to find it, document it and report it to the authorities.
Hopefully in a small way, you can help to prevent future flooding incidents and help thousands of people remain in their homes, free from the worry that the local river is about to burst it's banks - AGAIN!!
Thank-you for taking the time to read through my story.
