    Story

We are heading back into the heart of the Atlas Mountains to re-visit a village where we took aid before christmas. This time the plan is to raise money to buy footwear along with additional warm clothing & equipment for the children to enjoy.

The experience was probably the most proud thing i’ve ever been part of & i’m so proud of what we achieved in the few days there. We sourced, packed & delivered everything ourselves & travelled 3hrs into the mountains to find the most needy. I was shocked at how bad things really were & how little help had been given to them, with simply tents to live in they still made us so welcome like they had everything in the world. i can’t wait to go back & help with exactly what they require (shoes especially).

Please read below our original page where we raised nearly 3.5k netween here & fundraising activities win both of our businesses HOUSE OF DANCE & STYLED BOUTIQUE. The funds made a huge difference so thank you!! I will also post our video from our last trip to show how your money helped!!

As last time, i will be paying for our own travel & accommodation whilst there.

For those who know me you will know i have close ties to Morocco & specifically Marrakech. Over 12 years this has gone from a love of visiting the wonderful place & loving the culture to forming relationships for work & most importantly creating my very own Moroccan family.

The night before we were due to return home the awful earthquake as you will all have heard devastated Marrakech. Although the experience was something i can’t put into words & extremely frightening we were blessed to be able to sleep outside with a duvet along with knowing our home was undamaged upon our return to the UK unlike some of our close friends & acquaintances.

We’ve kept in constant contact with everyone we know there to see what they need & how we can help but the situation isn’t great & they need your help!

There are a huge amount of charities who are currently helping of which I think are wonderful but i want to try to directly help some of the people we personally know & have grown to love like they are our own blood.

These people need our help & I for sure will do everything in my power to try to do that. One of my closest friends & his mum (who is known as my Moroccan mum) are still awaiting confirmation if they are able to return as lot’s of structures are intact but have damage.

We are so lucky to have what we have & be able to repair things so easily but for these wonderful people it’s just not that easy. I’ve seen with my own eyes what these people do/don’t have, felt their love & kindness towards us & i want to raise as much money as we can to help these people in whatever way they may need.

So please help in anyway you can, from 50p to whatever you can manage, I will personally make sure every penny goes to help them.

Thank you so much & should you have any questions please just shout. Love & hugs Jules xxx
