Hey folks, thank you for thinking of helping me out. If you've seen the video then you''ll know most of the story. This year was an astro disaster in the UK and my videos suffered badly. In order to keep making videos I need a bit of help putting together a portable astrophotography rig which I can take to clear, calm skies when the weather in the UK is crappy. That is the main reason for this project but another surprising reason for making this happen has emerged. I think that despite being small enough to fit into a suitcase under the calm skies of the canaries this new version of the ultimate travel rig may deliver the best astro shots I've ever taken. The proof will be in the pudding of course but the fact that it might is exciting. It means we can potentially go deeper into the universe than we have before. In order to help raise money to build the new travel rig I have already sold my HEQ5 mount but annoyingly I'm still short by at least £800. Anyways you are very wonderful for doing this. It should help me be able to make videos all year round. I don't really want to be asking for hand outs and I hope that when I've got all my ducks lined up I won't need to anymore... but until that day arrives thank you!😜
