Iʼve raised £260 to Help a very talented BMX racer represent Great Britain at the BMX world championships being held in South Carolina, USA July 2017.

Story
My son races BMX at a National level and is currently ranked British No 3 in his age group. His hard work and determination in 2016 has given him some fantastic results, including British No 3. He has now qualified to represent Team GB in the BMX world championship in July 2017. South Carolina USA. this is a fantastic opportunity for him and we are desperate to see him wearing the red, white and blue.
Unfortunately British Cycling does not fund travel, insurance or accommodation.
Please help us get him there next year he truly deserves it and your support from friends and family will be gratefully received.
If you do at to his cause, I thank you sincerely.
Hopefully together we can see him ride for his country.

8 years agoAshley would like to thank all his supporters so far, and would like to express his sincere gratitude. The fund raising continues with my Dad offering to abseil down spinnaker tower in Portsmouth early next year. I am also planning an eBay sale to raise funds and have even sold my beloved Meybo frame from my 2015 season to go a little way towards the cost. My college are also planning a fund raising event which I hope will raise some money to get me to USA.
