Arthur who is a beautiful 6 year old boy who has been diagnosed with a cancer never seen anywhere else in the world. Football-loving Arthur Salters-Hoult, from Wallsend, was taken to A&E after lumps appeared on his head and throat. Doctors then revealed he had acute lymphoblastic leukaemia.

He underwent more tests and it took five weeks for the results to come back and that was because they hadn't seen the mutation before and his case is a WORLDWIDE FIRST CASE!

The best scientists in the world are working on Arthur's case so he can get the best treatment possible.

But the mutation means there is a much higher chance of relapsing at any time and it also puts him at risk of needing a bone marrow transplant.

Arthur has not reacted well to any of the Chemotherapy drugs given to him due to his mutations. This has sent his body to shutdown and sent him into intensive care.

We are running out of options for treatments that could work for arthur in the UK, so we are looking at other possible treatment plans.

We are hoping this last available treatment works, and if this does and the money isn't required, we would use the money to take Arthur to disneyland 😄
