Assalamu'alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh

As Ramadaan is approaching, I have decided to start a fundraiser in order to raise money to build a masjid based in Gowainghat Upazila citim bari Sylhet, Bangladesh.

It is stated that "Whoever builds a mosque, desiring thereby Allah's pleasure, Allah builds the like of it for him in paradise." (Sahih Bukhari)

As Muslims, we know the great rewards in praying in congregation which we take for granted. Unfortunately, there are people who don’t have access to local masjid and are unable to come together and pray. To help our brothers and sisters in need and to access this opportunity, let’s come together as an ummah and contribute as much as we can in order to make this happen in’shaa’allah. May allah SWT reward us for our efforts and intentions, ameen.

The Prophet (ﷺ) said, “When a man dies, his deeds come to an end except for three things: Sadaqah Jariyah (continuing charity), knowledge which is beneficial, or a virtuous descendant who prays for him” [Muslim]

Helping to build a mosque is one of the greatest forms of sadaqah jariyah. This is an ongoing charity which will continue to give you rewards in’shaa’allah.
