Following the success of this year’s Christmas tree recycling initiative, we are offering the same service again in January. For a £6 donation, the Amersham Town Council depot team will collect your Christmas tree, convert it to compost using our Eco Green Shredder, and use the by-product to mulch trees and flowerbeds around Amersham. Last year we generated six tonnes of material.

We can collect real trees from Amersham, Little Chalfont, Chalfont St. Giles, Chesham Bois, Penn, Coleshill, Hyde Heath and Winchmore Hill on 2nd - 5th January and 8th - 12th January.

After you've made your donation, please email info@amersham-tc.gov.uk with your name, address, preferred date of collection and your donation reference. Please note that we require at least 24 hours notice before we can make a collection.

All donations will be reinvested into the Town Council’s wildflower and sustainability projects in 2024.
