As some of you will know my life changed in April 2013. Whilst on duty I attended a neighbour dispute over noise nuisance which resulted in one of the neighbours being assaulted. Having attended the victims address my colleague and i attended the home address of the perpetrator. However, he was armed and waiting for us. Whilst in his address he took out a knife from his waist band and stabbed me repeatedly to the head. Thankfully my physical injuries weren't life threatening and I'd recovered from damaged ligaments in my knee although I still have a sore back... the incident itself resulted in me developing PTSD and if it weren't for Tom McAlpine OBE and this amazing charity I don't know how I would have gotten through it all.

Moodswings helps those in our community who have mental health needs. It's talked about a lot more in recent times. They are a charity and need our support! They've helped me out loads and I am eternally grateful to them for this.

I am intending on being locked in a Police cell for 24 hours to raise money! for anyone who knows me will know that this is so ironic as I'm usually on the other side of the cell door! This will take place in July 2017 (date to be confirmed)
