My son Vincent's school, Abington Vale Primary - Stirling Campus was created from a desperate need for more schools in the town. The school building is an office block turned into classrooms so there is a severe lack of outdoor space for the growing number of students. Outdoor space is so important for children's well being, for learning as well as relaxation between classes. Work has started to create a learning space and playground on the roof of the building that can be used not only by the students but also the whole community, but there is still a long way to go and funding is needed to see the job through.

Myself, Peter Kemp and Andy Kirby are looking for donations of sponsorship to cycle 100 miles in one day to raise as much money as possible to help with the funding. If you would like to contribute to this worthy cause any amount would be gratefully received.
