    Story

Ambition, Aspire, Achieve is a children and young peoples charity based in East London. Charity Registration Number: 1167816.

We have a team riding in the 2017 London 100 on the 30th July to help raise money for the Ambition, Aspire, Achieve Cycling Hub based in Canning Town, East London.

The Hub provides cycling opportunities to children, young people and their families who are disadvantaged, vulnerable and at risk.

The Hub also has a particular focus on children and young people with disabilities and/or additional needs, enabling them to participate fully and equally with their non disabled peers.

The Hub offers a safe and fun environment and offers a variety of opportunities beyond just riding a bike, including cycle maintenance, awareness courses and safety on the road.

The money raised through the London 100 Ride will help the Cycling Hub to maintain and add to the pool of bikes the Hub has available, including purchasing more bikes specifically design for children and young people with disabilities and/or additional needs.

The pool of bikes we have available truly is a vital element to the Cycling Hub as the pool enables the children and families who can not afford their own bikes to become involved, and the specialist bikes specifically for disabled children, enables them to have the same experiences and opportunities alongside their non disabled peers.

The Hub not only provides cycling opportunities but it also brings families together, builds new friendships and improves community cohesion and understanding. It also helps those involved to build their self esteem, self confidence and develop new skills that are transferable to all aspects of their lives, giving all those involved the confidence and skills to aspire and achieve.
