Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page! I'm raising money for the Good Law Project.
The Good Law Project is a non-profit company formed nearly a decade ago in the UK, which undertakes legal action, investigations and campaigning to fight for a fairer, greener future.
As part of its work, the Good Law Project has consistently fought for the legal rights of trans people, including efforts to intervene in last year's Supreme Court ruling on the definition of 'women' with regard to the Equality Act 2010.
Since then, the Good Law Project has been successful in protecting the rights of trans people in multiple legal cases. The EHRC are still working on guidance on how public bodies are to interpret the change in the Equality Act, and based on the EHRC consultation last year, said guidance could result in significant, intolerable challenges to the lives of not only the trans and gender non-conforming population, but also their friends and families, as well as cisgender women who don't conform to patriarchal 'standards' of what women should look like. We continue to need legal representation to defend our rights in public spaces, expose the unfairness of the ruling itself, and fight further inevitable cases brought by anti-trans campaigners claiming tenuous interpretations of the revised Equality Act.
As a trans woman I am incredibly apprehensive about what my future may hold as a UK citizen. By way of holding onto hope, I've decided to embark on another DJ livestream fundraiser, similar to my 80s Marathon last year. This time I'm undertaking a 12 hour, non-stop 90s DJ set between 10am and 10pm UK time on Sunday 15th February 2026. The entire GoldHill Disco marathon will be livestreamed (video and audio) on Mixcloud which can be watched and/or listened to live by anyone around the world using the following link:

I'll be accepting donations before, during and after the marathon. Anyone who tunes in will be able to join the Mixcloud chat if they'd like to send messages of encouragement or just talk about music, the 90s or pretty much anything else! Local friends and family are more than welcome to come along to the studio during the event to say hello, show support, and dance along, in or out of view of the camera.
I'm passionate about the rights of LGBTQ+ people and ALL women, and it would mean the world to me if you would donate to my fundraiser. Know that all the money I raise will go straight to the Good Law Project to help fund all the excellent work that they do.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. A couple of weeks after the livestream I'll donate all raised funds directly to the Good Law Project.
